The Friends of the Refuge – Mississippi River Pools 7 & 8 (FOR78) is holding a major fund raising event the evening of March 4, 2020. Ever want to have dinner with a President? Well, here is your chance! Join us for dinner with Teddy Roosevelt, as portrayed by Joe Wiegand, a renowned Teddy Roosevelt “repriser”. Joe “becomes” Roosevelt, the Conservation President, as he delivers an entertaining and informative presentation about Roosevelt’s legacy, the importance of Wildlife Refuges, National Parks, and conservation in general.
