The Prairie Wind Nature Store is operated by volunteers with the Friends of the Refuge - Mississippi River Pools 7 & 8.

Open Tuesday - Saturday (April to October) from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Open Tuesday to Friday (Nov. to March) from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

All proceeds support Refuge projects and educational opportunities for the surrounding communities.

Make your own outdoor Aldo Leopold Bench.  Your kit includes everything you need for a 4-ft. bench:  pre-drilled, brown pressure-treated lumber, hardware and assembly instructions.
